On the Issues
Jesse Jr. will fight the Republican plan TO CUT BENEFITS and work to restore civility, compassion, and equity to government. The proposed cuts may force some local hospitals that rely on Medicaid to close in rural and urban areas in the 2nd district, and Jesse Jr. says that is unacceptable. The 2nd district is very geographically and demographically diverse, and Jesse is committed to fighting for all residents from inner Chicago to all of the small towns in the southern areas, like Tilton. Jackson says we must learn to work together, and by working together, we can win. All regions will be affected by the policies of the extremist Republicans in Congress. We must fight them at every level to restore decency, fairness, and equity back into the Federal government. Jesse Jr. will help to lead the fight.
